As authorized by the State Administration
of Commodity Inspection of the People’s Republic of China,
CCIC Singapore handles and co-ordinates scrap survey for the ASEAN
region.
The scrap cargo exported to China must be subjected
to statutory inspection before being stuffed into containers and
vessel holds and prepared for export. Our CCIC inspection report
opens the gate for scrap cargoes to enter China.
In line with this, the following Pre-shipment
Inspection services are carried out:
• Check general appearance of the cargo and/or packaging

• Quality of the cargo against specifications mandated by
government of China
• Check condition of transportation facilities
• Check stowing, fastening and wedging
