Industrial | Pressure Vessel Inspection And Certification

A pressure vessel is a closed container designed to hold gases or liquids at a pressure substantially different from the ambient atmospheric pressure.

Pressure Vessel Inspection & CertificationCCIC provides a wide range of Inspection and Certification Solutions to safe-guard our customers’, who either manufacture or operate pressure vessels, boilers, and other pressurized systems. As pressure differential can be dangerous and fatal, pressure vessel design, manufacture, and operation are regulated by various engineering authorities and backed by local legislations. The apparent need to comply with stringent local and national statutory regulations is of paramount importance and our comprehensive range of Inspection and Certification services ensure that you fully comply with the unique requirements of the country you are operating in.

Our typical pressure vessel Inspection services would include:

  • Material approval for construction;
  • Design-stage examination and validation of design plans;
  • Periodical Inspections during the manufacturing phase;
  • Verification of welding procedures to standards;
  • Welder qualifications and approvals;
  • Risk assessment and analysis; and
  • Final product inspection and testing.

Testing pressure vessels for its compliance to designed safety requirements is a key maintenance component for pressure vessel operators and manufacturers. Non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques assess such vessels for fit-for-use purposes. Though many conventional NDT techniques can be used for such a purpose, at CCIC, we use Pressure Vessel Inspection & Certification 2the latest and more advanced technologies for NDT, that offer many improvements over traditional techniques such as liquid-penetrant testing, magnetic-particle testing, eddy-current testing, or single-element ultrasonic testing. In addition to providing more accurate assessments, speeding up turnaround times, and reducing maintenance costs, they can detect even the smallest defect in the pressure vessel.

Our NDT level III qualified personnel, with the aid of modern technological equipment, can perform on-site evaluations at our customers’ locations and offer many techniques to suit the need. The modern NDT techniques used by our team are as follows:-

  • Guided Wave Testing (GWT);
  • Eddy-Current Array Testing (ECT);
  • and many more….. (please see NDT section for more details)
